The Meaning of Orchestrated Reality

Van Neumann made his statement about actuality being mathematically impossible early in the last century. The implication here was that because quantum entities were probabilities, then mathematically it was not possible to make something solid, a real object that could be manipulated, from these entities.

Furthermore, the quantum mechanical equations that described these quantum entities had no reality in normal Euclidian space. Euclidian space describes the normal three dimensions of our daily world. These equations or functions could only be understood in Hilbert vector space. This is an imaginary space where vectors could exist and have the normal function and relationships associated with Euclidian (normal three dimensional) space.

Conceptually then multiple dimensional analogs of the multiple quantum possibilities would exist essentially like ghosts in Hilbert space and would become transformed into a ‘real’ object when observed by the observer. These original concepts have been taken and refined.

Sir Roger Penrose proposed that by creating equations for quantum gravity the time spent in multiple coherent states, in that Hilbert space, could be determined by Planck’s constant and the gravitational self-energy, creating the notion of self-coherence of the object.

It should be clear that this simply describes the energetic requirement, in terms of quantum gravity to enable the path to this behavior. This behavior is what generates one version versus another, in terms of the self-coherence. It does not describe how the choice one version versus another is made, but simply implies that one is more stable than the other.

This does not do away with the requirement that observation of the event is required. In point of fact, it almost begs us to say that the choice of self-coherence is made by the object itself.

In the absence of any other associated consciousness, there has to be implicit consciousness associated with the event. Thus the object of the event itself must have associated consciousness in order to self-cohere and by that act self-express.  One can calculate the energetic requirement for orchestrated reduction, the act of going from Hilbert space to Euclidian space and it is possible to follow the mathematics and see how that allows the persistence of larger objects. However, the initial trigger for the event has to be a choice of self-observation and thus self-coherence and by that self-expression.

The self-coherence of a positron for an instant of time is an act of self-coherence, and by extension self-observation and self-expression. This unit of self-consciousness in quantum entanglement and the infinite number of others are the consciousness that observed the original event, the ultimate act of self-expression.
