Quantum Mechanics and Consciousness

The context of underlying connectivity results in what we perceive as actuality residing within of a sea of connectivity. In the quantum mechanics model this connectivity comes out of a larger sea of potentiality, which represents the summation of all possibilities. It is thought that the actuality coalesces out of the potentialities. In seeing this, one asks how does this arise? In total connection there cannot be the separate experience of different possibilities.
The separation of possibilities begins with the separation of the first possibility. So then there has to be the first separation. The first separation is that which becomes a separation of perspective of self and that of not self.
This creates a frame of reference from which to have observation. This creates the first level of consciousness. This has to take place before probabilities are possible. From this level of self and non self an observer is able to the interaction between self and non self and experience and event through the process of observation.
The first act of separation of awareness into the perspective of self and non-self enables the possibility of consciousness by becoming aware of self and non-self. Consciousness is then further able to subdivide itself into more individuated forms representing different selves. Individuation here is used to imply that there is still a level of connectivity below the apparent separation.
The interaction of individuated self and non-self is the basis of creation of the world of probability which becomes Von Neuman’s (Von Neuman was an early contributant to the ideas of quantum mechanics) ghostly world of probabilities. This level represents the levels of Level two, Level one and Level zero understanding depending on how far the perspective of individuation is taken. When taken to the level of belief of total separation then the Level zero understanding is achieved.
The implicit understanding then is that in order for consciousness to observe events, it has to hold and maintain the possibility (possible quantum states) and probability fields (stable quantum states). This then allows the consciousness to hold form in the state of actuality. This actually then implies that every possible form (subatomic particles) has a consciousness that maintains the form. This is so because all physical forms in actuality are a summation of subatomic particles.
Thus, the individuated consciousnesses summate to become the original first consciousness. This shifting of perspective between individuated consciousnesses, the semi-summated forms, and the ultimate first consciousness represent shifting between Level zero understanding and Level two understanding via a Level one understanding.
